Wasteland 2 on post-apokalyptinen vuoropohjainen roolipeli, jossa on taktinen taistelujärjestelmä.
Peli asettuu ydintuhon jälkeiseen aikaan USA:n joutomailla, josta löytyy vielä paljon elämää.
Voit muokata käytössäsi olevat neljä sotilasta tarpeitasi vastaaviksi yksilöllisiksi sotilaiksi ja lähteä joutomaalle pitämään kuria ja järjestystä.
Joutomaalla lakia pitävät yllä aavikkorangerit ja Wasteland 2 onkin kuvaus neljän aavikkorangerin elämästä ja urasta.
Director’s Cut pitää sisällään uudelleen läpikäydyt grafiikat, täysin uudelleen tehdyt hahmot sekä uudet ulkoasut kentille.
Myös mukaan on lisätty tuhansia uusia vuorosanoja puhetta, jonka takia tämä tekee tästä selvästi parhaan Wasteland 2-version.
